We’re delighted to welcome two new podiatrists, Fikayo and Aleisha, who joined the Cutting Edge Podiatry team on Monday 3 August.
Both Fikayo and Aleisha will be working from our Cambridge clinic, helping patients with a wide range of foot conditions and musculoskeletal concerns. Both are trained in Run3D, K-Laser, and shockwave. They can both perform nail surgery along with general podiatry. Both will be trained in SWIFT microwave therapy by the end of August and are scheduled to undertake Faulkner’s Needling training in October 2026.
Meet Fikayo – Specialist Podiatrist and Physiotherapist
With qualifications in both podiatry and physiotherapy, Fikayo brings a broad understanding of foot health, lower-limb movement, and rehabilitation to the clinic.
He provides general podiatry care and has particular expertise in biomechanics, musculoskeletal assessments, and orthotics. His combined training enables him to explore not only where pain is experienced, but also whether movement patterns, physical activity, or other contributing factors may be involved.
Fikayo achieved a First Class degree in Podiatry from the University of Huddersfield before gaining valuable NHS experience. During this time, much of his work involved diabetic foot care and supporting patients with complex or higher-risk foot health needs.
He went on to complete a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Birmingham City University. This further developed his knowledge of musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation, and the relationship between the feet, legs, and wider body.
Fikayo believes it is important that patients understand their condition and the different treatment options available to them. He aims is to develop a practical treatment plan that supports each patient’s individual needs and helps them return to the activities they enjoy.

Meet Aleisha – Podiatrist
We’re also pleased to welcome Aleisha to the clinic. She is looking forward to building relationships with patients in Cambridge.
Her interest in podiatry developed from a desire to help people feel more comfortable, remain active, and improve their everyday quality of life. She takes a warm and understanding approach, making time to listen to patients and ensure they feel at ease throughout their appointment.
Aleisha is especially interested in musculoskeletal podiatry and is keen to continue developing her knowledge and clinical skills within this area. She enjoys the variety that podiatry offers and the opportunity to make a genuine difference to patients experiencing foot pain or mobility problems.
